Our flagship model

Habitat Partagé.
A model built to last.

Habitat Partagé offers a human-scale alternative between home and institutional care. Each elderly person has their own private space, while benefiting from warm shared areas and caring, personalised support.

It is a small living collective, where everyone is considered at home: it is their space, their habits and their choices.

Here, the place adapts to the person, not the other way around.

Understanding the model

Why Habitat Partagé? And for whom?

Why this model?

  • Traditional nursing homes no longer meet the expectations of many families: too large, too impersonal, too institutional.
  • Staying at home has its limits: isolation, insecurity, burden on family caregivers.
  • Habitat Partagé offers a third way: a collective, warm, human-scale home.
  • A model that supports the person from autonomy through to end of life, through social connection and personalised care adapted to their needs.

For whom?

  • Elderly people, whether autonomous, with declining autonomy or at end of life, who wish to live in a warm, family-like environment.
  • Families looking for a humane and reassuring alternative for their loved ones.
  • Municipalities and communities wishing to offer senior housing options in their area.
  • Investors seeking a real estate investment with social impact and stable returns.
The 4 pillars

A model built on 4 pillars

Habitat Partagé is built on a balance between quality of life, accessibility, local roots and sustainability.

A human living space

1 / 4

01

Human-scale team

With 8 to 24 inhabitants per house, every team member truly knows the residents. Less turnover, more trust — a human relationship built over time.

02

Daily social connection

Life in a small collective prevents isolation and loss of autonomy. The group stimulates, reassures and maintains the desire to live and share every day.

03

Just like home

A warm setting, far from a hospital atmosphere. Families and pets are welcome. Inhabitants live in a dignified place where everyone feels at home.

04

Personalised support

Every team member is trained to support inhabitants daily. The house operates inclusively, with attentive presence adapted to each person's needs.

05

Respecting each person's rhythm

Wake-up times, meals, activities or rest: each inhabitant keeps their habits. Here, the place adapts to the person, not the other way around.

AetheirisThe Caliel Foundation touch

What we bring on top

The Caliel Foundation takes the Habitat Partagé model and adds an upper layer, guaranteed by the Aetheiris label.

Support through to end of life

Not only for autonomous people. The inhabitant is supported throughout their life, including severe Alzheimer's or end of life. No one is forced to leave.

Montessori approach for the elderly

Every inhabitant is an active participant in their daily life. The Montessori approach values remaining abilities, stimulates autonomy and respects each person's rhythm.

A team that adapts to the person

The team evolves with each inhabitant's needs. Skills adjust, the support ratio adapts. The place adapts to the person, not the other way around.

Inhabitant at home, not a resident

Every person is considered at home. It is their home, their space, their choices. Even the vocabulary reflects this philosophy: we speak of inhabitants, not residents.
